Wormhole discovered in Pulin

Pulin System - During a routine scan-down of the Pulin system last night, Chasm City Syndicate discovered an unstable wormhole near the core of the system. Instruments indicated that the wormhole would likely not last another 24 hours and that no ships had yet passed through it. Seizing the opportunity, Chasm founders Davan Sarn and Tantel Ramas passed through the wormhole to uncharted space.

An initial scan of the system provided the pilots with information about two sleeper cells near the core, further scanning produced results leading to a rich asteroid field in the middle of the system. As this was strictly a scouting venture Chasm did not engage the sleepers or attempt to mine the asteroids.

However, this has proven to Chasm City Syndicate that there is substantial ISK to be made in uncharted space and that wormholes have the potential to create new revenue for mid-range corporations. Chasm is currently discussing the formation of a wormhole exploration team for future expeditions.
